Please browse my folders. I work as a graphic designer/communicator, which is really about facilitating ideas and images. I love to do figure drawing, which I pursue at Basic Inquiry Studios in Vancouver. Recent activities include portrait studies, figurative sculpture studies, a private portrait commission, a geeks convention (Adobe MAX in November in San Francisco), logos and design for a teacher’s guide for children’s books, travel sketching in El Salvador and Guatemala, flamenco dancing, knitting, travel, food and friends.
I designed and illustrated a children's book for writer Susie Bragg, published in December 2007. It's called "Diamond in the Rough", and is about a derelict "Diamond T" truck that comes back to life!
Basic Studio was the site of my one-person show in November 2005, Etch a Sketch drawings, which merited articles in the Vancouver Sun, the Globe and Mail, and TV and radio appearances–a lot of fun!
